Tax Compliance Specialist

This role is based in the Michelin Shared Services Center in Bucharest, Michelin Corporate & Business Services, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Sales Administration, Personnel and Service Management.
The Tax Compliance Specialist will assist the Tax Experts or the Finance country managers from different countries, ensuring tax accounting and all tax compliance activities within the country are completed on time and to a high standard, while at the same time meeting Michelin governance and risk management standards.
What we’re looking for:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Tax compliance (ideally gained within a similar profile role for an international business);
  • Economic studies (preferably Tax, Accounting or similar fields);
  • Oracle ERP knowledge is considered a plus;
  • Analytical approach;
  • Structured and organized;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Good Excel skills;
  • Team spirit and can-do attitude.
What will you do?
  • Prepare and determine of quantities of tires introduced on Domestic market in certain EU Countries to make Declaration.
  • Review end-to-end process, understand it, and identify opportunities of improvement and automation of the process.
  • Participate to Environmental inspections and audits, including gathering information, responding to information requests.
  • Prepare GL journal to book environmental recycling cost
  • Other tax activities as VAT return preparations /filing or WHT preparation
